To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a statement on the Advisory Board for the Research Council's review of the biological sciences.

Mr. Jackson

The ABRC is establishing a working group to review the disposition between the research councils of responsibilities for the biological sciences. The group will be chaired by Mr. J. R. S. Morris and is expected to report to the board around the end of the year.
