§ Mr. Gordon BrownTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will give Government expenditure, excluding home student fee income, in total and per head of university population for each year since 1978–79 at constant prices, including planned expenditure per head for 1988–89 to 1990–91; and if he will give the number of new undergraduate entrants for 1978–79.
