§ Mr. CopeThe table shows the proportion of people interviewed under the restart scheme who have been referred to various opportunities, including jobs. We do not know how many of these move straight into employment, nor do we know how many people have moved from unemployment related benefits to some other form of benefit.
Between July 1986 and 29 April 1988, a total of 3,725,563 restart interviews took place. These resulted in:
