§ Mr. Peter BottomleyAmending regulations exempting existing prescription lensed goggles and postponing until 1 April 1989 the requirement for new ones to be approved and marked to BS 4110 were laid before the House today. The regulations also permit the use of glass lensed goggles approved to an earlier version of the standard which did not require marking with the letter "A" to show abrasion resistance. The regulations will come into force in early July.
