§ Mrs. RumboldThe total expenditure that has been approved for support by education support grants in Norfolk in the four years to 1988–89 and the amount of expenditure on which grant has been claimed is given in the table.
The authority has taken part in the pilot project to improve the quality or the range of the curriculum provided in primary schools in rural areas and figures are given in the table. This is the only activity that is specifically geared to the needs of rural areas.
