§ Mr. GummerMy Department has received a number of representations on this matter and is assessing whether such imports would endanger animal or plant health. Overall responsibility for imports of domestic waste rests with the Department of the Environment and it would therefore be for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State to receive a delegation from Cheshire county council. I understand that he will be happy to do so.
