To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the members and their appropriate qualifications of the committee advising him on the Welsh language.

The eight members of the working group chaired by my hon. Friend the Minister of State are:

  • Prys Edwards—Chairman Wales Tourist Board
  • John Elfed Jones—Chairman Welsh Water Authority
  • Tom Jones—North Wales Regional Officer T&GWU
  • Winston Roddick QC—Barrister
  • D. Hugh Thomas—Clerk and Chief Executive, Mid Glamorgan Council Council
  • Euryn Ogwen Williams—Deputy Director, S4C
  • Elfed Roberts—Regional Director, Midland Bank.
