§ Mr. SainsburyThe hon. Member's question would require the extraction from archives of daily rainfall figures recorded at about 4,400 meteorological reporting stations in the United Kingdom alone. The transcription and checking of almost 9,000 sets of figures would involve disproportionate effort and expense.
