§ The Prime MinisterThe Armed Forces Pay Review Body has submitted to me a supplementary report on the pay of medical and dental officers in the armed forces which recommends increases of between 4 and 7.6 per cent. with effect from 1 April 1988. These awards are derived from those to civilian doctors and dentists which I announced in the House on 21 April 1988, and the Government have decided to accept them in full. The report has been published as Cm. 396 and copies are available in the Vote Office.
