To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will tabulate the revenue cash limit figures of the Macclesfield health authority at 31 March in each year since 1979 and the projected cash limit for 1988–89.

Determination of the cash limits for individual district health authorities is the responsibility of regional health authorities. Following is the information requested, together with figures of total revenue expenditure for the Macclesfield health authority since its establishment on 1 April 1982. Prior to that date the authority's predecessor health district formed part of the Cheshire area health authority and district-based figures are not available.
