§ Mr. ChannonThe London borough of Greenwich has submitted its consultants' assessment of the effect of the revised values of travel time and accident prevention on the east London river crossing scheme. I have confirmed that my Department's reassessment, together with that of the London borough of Greenwich, will be taken into account by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and me in reaching our decision on the statutory orders for this scheme. We hope to announce our joint decision soon.
