§ Mr. DalyellTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of 27 May, when he expects the investigation into the loss and subsequent discovery of a document concerning routine refit work on HMS Hermione to be completed.
§ Mr. Ian StewartThe investigation has been completed. It is not our normal practice to disclose the results of such investigations. However, I am satisfied that the loss of the document in question was accidental and measures have been taken to try and prevent a recurrence.
