To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what was the total expenditure by the Department of the Environment on street lighting in the constituency of Newry and Armagh in the years 1984–85, 1985–86, 1986–87 and 1987–88.

Total expenditure for the district council areas of Armagh and Newry and Mourne, including the council electoral areas, The Fews, Crotlieve and the Mournes wholly or partly outside the constituency of Newry and Armagh, was as follows:
