§ Mr. MellorWe continue to call on those Governments or organisations with influence over the hostage-takers to use their influence to secure the unconditional release of those held. We follow up every lead in the search for news of our hostages. Her Majesty's embassy in Beirut is doing all it can, in very difficult circumstances. We also remain in touch with middle eastern and other Governments.
