§ Mr. MacGregorA note setting out the volume of EC intervention stocks of agricultural commodities which includes only the surplus quantities held in EC intervention is deposited in the Library of the House and is updated monthly. The estimated book value of the EC stocks excluding depreciation, set out in the most recently deposited note, is £4.0 billion.
