§ Mr. FreemanThe function of the joint services medical planning committee is to co-ordinate joint operational medical policy to meet the requirements of operational planning conducted on behalf of the United Kingdom commanders in chief, and advise the United Kingdom commanders in chief, as appropriate, on medical matters arising from joint operational plans.
