§ Mr. LangPreliminary discussions have taken place between representatives of Quality Street and Glenrothes520W development corporation, which included the possibility of a management agency covering a portion of the housing stock. Those discussions were exploratory and no commitments were made on either side. No such discussions have as yet taken place in the other four towns, although an exploratory meeting has been arranged between Livingston development corporation and Quality Street, at the latter's request.

§ Mr. LangThe Scottish new town development corporation continue to receive advice on the Government's housing policy objectives in the regular meetings which take place between officials of my Department and those of the corporations. There is nothing new about discussions between private housing developers and development corporations.
