Police have powers to remove illegally parked vehicles from any road in Great Britain.
Clamping of vehicles used by persons entitled to full diplomatic immunity would be in breach of the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations. Statistics on the clamping of diplomatic vehicles not protected by this convention are not readily available.
