To ask the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if there are any plans for the possible closure of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority's training school at Risley;

(2) whether any studies have been carried out or commissioned concerning the cost-effectiveness of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority's training school at Risley.

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what information he has as to the intake at the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority's training school at Risley for the academic year starting in September; what has the intake been for the last five years; and whether British Nuclear Fuels Ltd. will continue to send trainees to the training school after 1988.
