§ Mr. Kirk woodTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list in theOfficial Report, for each year over the last five up to the latest for which figures are available, the following information with respect to school nurses: (a) the total number employed (given as total, whole-time, part-time, and whole-time equivalent), (b) the establishment figures and (c) the number of vacant posts.
§ Mr. GristThere are currently no reliable figures which distinguish school nurses. However, district health authorities are, in conjunction with Welsh Office officials, improving coding procedures to enable information on school nurses in post to be obtained.
