§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Minister for the Arts if he will publish in theOfficial Report an analysis of receipts to his programme, consistent with the reply of 27 May, Official Report, columns 375–376, analysing by function or nature of item (a) the receipts classified as charges with respect to programme expenditure, (b) the receipts classified as charges with respect to running costs expenditure and (c) the amounts of receipts in respect of (i) programme expenditure and (ii) running costs expenditure estimated to have been met from other public expenditure programmes.
§ Mr. Luce[holding answer 28 July 1988]:An analysis in the precise form requested is not available, but the arts and 629W libraries receipts detailed in the reply of 27 May relate to programme expenditures. They fall into the following categories, and the table covers the last three years for which firm figures are known.
