§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe prison department undertakes inquiries into all inmate suicides in order to try to prevent future deaths, and coroners' inquests are held on all deaths of prisoners. We do not think that there are any grounds for setting up a formal inquiry into suicides at Her Majesty's prison, Leeds.
