§ Mr. FreemanOn present plans work on the modernisation of the ballistic missile early warning system at RAF Fylingdales should start on site in mid 1989 and finish in mid 1991. The modernised radar should be operational by autumn 1992.
§ Mr. CohenTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence what unit of United States Space Command is responsible for collating the information obtained by the Fylingdales ballistic missile early warning station in its role as part of the space surveillance network.
