§ Mr. FavellTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will make a statement on the conclusions which he has drawn from his consultations with the cinema and film industries about follow-up action to the 1983 Monopolies and Mergers Commission report on the supply of films and the subsequent experimental films release scheme; and whether he will make an early order under the Fair Trading Act 1973 to implement the two main recommendations by the Monopolies and Mergers Commission concerning barring and popular films.
