To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement on the outcome of the recent meeting of the European Community's Budget Council.

[pursuant to his reply, 28 July 1988]: I regret that the own resources call up rate implied by the draft budget was incorrectly stated to be 1.15 per cent, of Community GNP; it is 1.11 per cent, of Community GNP.
