To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many people have had their applications to renew their driving licences refused on medical grounds relating to(a) depression and (b) other reasons; and how many appeals against such refusals were successful for each of the last 10 years.

No details are available about successful appeals by condition. The figures show the number of successful appeals for all conditions in each of the last 10 years.
