§ Mr. Peter WalkerAs the hon. Gentleman knows, the Ministry of Defence has released its consultative document which proposes the closure of RNAD Milford Haven. My right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Defence will, however, consider all representations received from the work force, trades unions, local authorities and other interested parties before a final decision is taken. I am, of course, aware of the impact which closure of the depot would have on the area and if a decision is taken to close RNAD Milford Haven my Department will be discussing the future of the site with the Ministry of Defence and the public authorities concerned.
