§ Sir Bernard BraineTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) whether he has yet received the report from the Anglian water authority regarding the effect of the extension of the Southend on Sea sewage outfall on the quality of river water generally; and whether there has been any increase in levels of pollution off Canvey Island's beaches;
(2) if he will detail the arrangements for continuous monitoring of all sewage outfalls and beaches in the Thames estuary.
