To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish a table in theOfficial Report, in the same format as the written reply of 7 July, Official Report, columns 751–52, on receipts classified as charges in respect of his programme expenditure over the years 1982–83 to 1990–91, indicating the receipts in respect of running costs expenditure together with a supplementary analysis indicating, separately, the amounts of receipts in respect of programme expenditure and of running costs expenditure estimated to have been met from other public expenditure programmes.

For receipts in respect of programme expenditure I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 7 July 1988, at columns 751–52. Receipts in respect of running costs expenditure for which the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has responsibility are given in the table. In no year did receipts in respect of running costs included in other Government Departments' running costs exceed £ ½ million.
