proposals of the EEC Commission to curb the import of Japanese cars; if the issue will be determined by majority vote; and if he will make a statement.

The Commission has not yet put forward proposals for future policy towards imports of Japanese cars into the Community. If and when it does so, the Government will study the proposals carefully.
