§ Mr. NeedhamThe Northern Ireland Housing Executive can make house renovation grants to all disabled people to help meet the cost of any necessary adaptations to their homes. Such grants are made only following assessment of the needs of each disabled person by professional staff of health and social services boards.
If professional staff recommend that adaptations, including modification of existing heating systems or the installation of alternative systems, are necessary, grants are made available.
