To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what was the purpose of the visit by an architect in his Department to the Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham girls school in Deptford on Tuesday 5 July; and if he will make a statement.

Mrs. Rumbold

An occasional professional assistant working for architects and buildings branch at the Department visited the Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham girls school in Deptford on Tuesday 5 July. The visit followed a request from the governors for advice on possible modifications to the school buildings.
