§ Mr. ScottWe welcome the publication of this report, as it sets out a valuable overview on the ways that services are being provided for people with physical disabilities. The report is receiving careful consideration and it is proposed to discuss its implications further with interested parties. It will also be taken into account in framing the Government's proposals on community care policy, following consideration of Sir Roy Griffiths' recent report. The report is not, however, addressed solely to Government and we hope that it will stimulate similar consideration and discussion amongst service providers in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
