Mr. Robert Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration has been given to offering the White Hart training centre in Harrogate to the private sector; and if he will make a statement.

Mrs. Currie

The National Health Service Training Authority is actively considering the future role of its two training centres and all options for their future use are being considered. The authority hopes to reach a conclusion on this by early 1989.
