§ Mr. ChannonThe public service obligation grant, which constitutes the central Government support for British Rail's services on the Network SouthEast and provincial sectors, will be £572.5 million for 1988–89. The settlement will, as usual, be subject to adjustment for certain factors to be settled with the British Railways Board.
