HC Deb 26 July 1988 vol 138 c178W
Mr. Tom Clarke

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what further measures he intends to take to tackle the problem of racial harassment in Scottish prisons.

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

I refer the hon. Member to the measures I announced in my speech to the House on 8 July 1988, when I also made it clear that there was no evidence that racial harassment in Scottish prisons was a widespread problem.
