To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many times in the last six months in the course of his ministerial duties he has travelled by rail; and what has been the cost to public funds of delay or diversion interrupting his ministerial duties on such journeys.

Since the beginning of this year I have made 11 journeys by rail in the course of my ministerial duties. None suffered delays or diversions involving public expenditure.
