To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what steps the services' public relations departments take to assist and advise film and television programme makers in the preparation of items of military history or interest.

All requests for assistance and advice are considered on their merits. In general, assistance is given when it is compatible with the interests of the Department to do so, subject to suitable resources being available.
