§ Mr. SainsburyActivities by protesters and the threat of such activities produce a considerable increase in the task of protection of military units and MOD establishments in the United Kingdom. However, it is not possible to identify that part of the total cost of protection which is attributable to the activity of protesters. In addition, there will have been costs incurred by local constabularies.
