HC Deb 25 July 1988 vol 138 c29W
Mr. Wray

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many flights (i) by British military airplanes, (ii) with British military pilots and (iii) with British crew, would be affected in the event of the Parliament of the Rhineland palatinate state deciding to cancel all military low flights below 300 m.

Mr. Freeman

Low-flying training, other than that which is part of a major exercise, is not planned in advance but carried out on a day-to-day basis as weather and other considerations permit. An answer to this hypothetical question is therefore not possible.
