§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe land improvement measures under the agricultural development programme for Scottish islands will apply to inbye land only and will therefore have minimal effect on wildlife habitats and the environment. The programme allows for payments for the protection of sites of particular importance for the environment and was drawn up in consultation with the Nature Conservancy Council and the Countryside Commission for Scotland.
