Mr. Fearn

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the number of hernia repairs and hip replacement operations performed in each area, in each year since 1974 to the latest date for which figures are available.

Number of in-patients discharged in each health board in each year from 1974 to 1986 where the principle operation was hernioplasty (inguinal and femoral)
