(2) if he will identify those results of the ethnic monitoring of recruitment for the AO and AA grades in London in July 1987 which suggest that the number of appointments offered to ethnic minorities is broadly in proportion to the number of eligible candidates applying from each ethnic group;
(3) how many appointments were offered to members of ethnic minorities as revealed by the survey of ethnic monitoring of recruitment for the AO and AA grades in London in July 1987; and how many such offers were accepted;
(4) how many eligible candidates from each ethnic group applied for recruitment into the AO and AA grades in London in July 1987, according to the ethnic monitoring exercise then carried out by his Department.

§ Mr. BrookeNon-departmental public bodies and other bodies sponsored by the Chancellor's departments are responsible for making their own arrangements for the recruitment and personnel management of the staff they employ. Bodies are encouraged to be equal opportunities employers, and to pursue practices in the codes of the Commission for Racial Equality and the Equal Opportunities Commission. No central records are held on ethnic monitoring and equal opportunities exercises carried out by these bodies.
