§ Mr. Donald ThompsonThe Ministry's senior information technology strategy committee consists of eight grade 3 officers providing a cross-section of the various business interests. The Central Computers and Telecommunications Agency is also represented and the committee is chaired by a member of the Ministry's management board. It has not been necessary for Ministers to attend personally any of the committee's meetings during the last year.
§ Mr. WarrenTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many of the staff in his Department at grades 1, 2 and 3 have attended courses or training on information technology awareness or management in the last 12 months.
§ Mr. Donald ThompsonMy Ministry arranges comprehensive senior management training for all staff entering grade 3 level or above including appropriate attention to information technology awareness. During the last 12 months three officers have received such training.
