§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe sourcing of Amstrad's computers is a matter for the company. As there are no anti-dumping duties on computers, the criteria used by the Commission of the European Communities to assess whether assembly operations are designed to circumvent such duties are not relevant. Computers must comply with the national safety standards set by EC member states which differ from each other to varying degrees.
