To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give the estimated number of unemployed adults aged (i) 16 years, (ii) 17 years and (iii) 18 years(a) in total, (b) by unemployment benefit office and (c) by administrative region.

Following is the available information. The table shows the number of unemployed claimants, in the United Kingdom and for each of the standard regions, in the requested age groups on the latest available date, 14 April 1988. The information is not available for unemployment benefit offices except at disproportionate cost.
