§ Mr. Chris PattenWe have recently provided from the aid programme two grants totalling £1.2 million. The first is for £1 million to UNICEF for its health care and water supply projects in Lebanon; the other is for £200,000 to the International Committee of the Red Cross for its 1988 emergency appeal for Lebanon. This appeal covers a range of protection, tracing and relief activities. Our latest contribution is part of Her Majesty's Government's long and continuing commitment to Red Cross operations in Lebanon.
