To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations have been made to the Government of China regarding the enforcement of laws on trade in endangered species; and if he will make a statement.

Officials have made clear our concern, and that of Members of this House, on this subject to the Chinese embassy in London. We are assured that the Chinese Government share this concern.
