§ Mr. HoodTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list all publications regarding benefits for which he is responsible since 1979, indicating which of these were published by Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
§ Mr. Portillo[holding answer 9 February 1988]: Apart from the numerous leaflets on social security benefits, which are all produced through HMSO, details of publications and their publishers, and, where appropriate, the authors, are printed in the "DHSS Sectional List" produced annually by HMSO and in the "Catalogue of British Official Publications not published by HMSO" (Chadwick Healy). Copies of both publications for the years 1979–87 are available in the Library. In addition, arrangements have been made to place a copy in the Library of the current "DHSS-DATA database of DHSS publications not published by HMSO". This publication is updated every two months.
