§ Mr. FreemanA claim for compensation for personal injury was received by the Ministry of Defence from solicitors acting for Mr. Victor Adams in March. The claim was dealt with on the basis of legal liability, and was settled on 17 May. It is not our practice to discuss details of individual settlements, the terms of which must be regarded as private between the Department, the claimant and his legal advisers. No other claims for personal injury have been received following the incident in question.
